Using office printer through VPN? |
If you're at home, connecting to your office at a different location. Can you print something out of your office printer through the VPN (Virtual Private Network). Yes you can. When you are connected to your office network through a VPN, you have access to all the available network resources that you would normally have access to if you were at work i.e. network drives, printers, etc. Sure but you probably will need to add the drivers for it to you local machine. The only difference in your VPN from outside the office to a machine inside the office is the location. Yes, Depending ont he VPN Appliance you are using(Most allow It). You will need to speak to your network admin for the IP Address to the printer OR Computer hosting the printer. |
