Disabled and homebound in Tempe, AZ?

Does anyone have any ideas on how I could start a virtual assistant or freelance professional type of business here in Tempe. I am retired due to disability. I love doing graphic design, painting, and other crafts too. I enjoy Power Point and Adobe Creative suite as well as Flash. I am just feeling so bad because my husband is working so hard to help keep us stable and here I sit bored out of my mind and willing and able to work from home but can not find any legit paying jobs.

I am happy to help local nonprofits with any newsletters, or website creation or management and updates. I was hoping to make at least 100 dollars before Christmas so I could suprise my husband with a Christmas present. I don't mind doing ironing also. I have all the computer equipment and highspeed internet for any computer work you might offer. I type 50+ wpm and I'm certified in MS office from Skillport.com
