VISTA + SAMBA v2 is NTLMv2 the problem?

I have a Linux box with Samba v2.0.7 and I want to view it's contents under Vista Business.
My shares are used under Windows 2K, XP, 95, NT, Linux, SCO, SUN etc, but they cannot be used under Vista.
I've searched the web, finding a solution that NTLMv2 is to blame, so I've followed the instructions (Security changed to "Send LM & NTLM -- use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated.") but nothing happened.
My Linux box is a vmware virtual machine under Vista and it used to communicate with Vista first time I tuned it.
But now! Everything I've read from internet is useless. Please help.

Of course it is.
This problem is caused by vista because vmware + samba were working together.
Something had to do with vista patches. unpatch them.
