How can i make this person pay me?

I own a virtual assistant business and did some work for someone about a month ago. They still have not paid me and I want to know how I can take proper procedures. For those of you who don鈥檛 know what a virtual assistant is, it鈥檚 a job where I鈥檓 not employed for the people but I鈥檓 an independent contractor who does administrative work from my house.

as soon as they're 30 days past due, send an invoice marked "Demand" or similar language.

if they ignore it, file suit in small claims court.

you do have a signed ageement, yes?

SMALL CLAIMS COURT

First, certified letter request for payment for specified services on specific days, specific time limit.
Then, is it worth the hassel of small claims court.
