Do you need special programming/computer skills to start a business on virtual reality game Second Life? |
Or can you just rote learn? It depends on what sort of business you would like to open. You don't need any special skills to start a business, but you DO need skills if you intend to have a business selling products in SL. Scripting and building skills are essential to producing viable, sellable products in SL, but the good part about this is that you can learn those skills in-game. There are many different areas, tutorials, etc. where you can learn all about building, scripting, etc., and the rest you can learn as you go. The Ivory Tower, for example, has great step-by-step building tutorials. Hope this helps! :) |
