Am i weird????...?

i'm just 17 now... but have been analysing deeply about death, purpose of life and stuffs like that since i was 14... i dont really get it ... when guys and gals of my age are busy enjoyin their lives i just keep on worryin about things like this... help me out... i have tried a lot... i get releived for a month or two and get into the usual business.... when i ask some questions to my mom she laughs at me and says talk like a teen ager... dont talk like saint... help... i just wanna know if it is normal to be like tat... besides i prefer being alone most of the time busy in my own world reading books, watchin tv shows tat help us gain knowledge about this world and cartoons most of the time... i regret tat i am living in a virtual world...is it ok... or do you think i should change.. if so how... please help...

hmmm. first, i don't think your weird at all, it's normal to be more introverted than extroverted. it's just who you are. i personally think that you should thank god, that you are thinking about those stuff, it makes you a better and deep person, it's a very good think (i hope you are not thinking about death in a wrong way though). but there are two different types: the first who stays at home because she enjoys it, the second is staying at home, because she is afraid of what might happen when she meets new people. you must decide which category do you fit in. if the first, than it's ok, you are just fine as you are. but try not to lie to yourself, if you fit in the second category, than i suggest to think about other topics a well for ex. what is happiness for you, what makes you happy, in which environment do you feel most secure and comfortable? because you can easily fool yourself and be lonely all the time, and that is why you are thinking more than the usual person about death and stuff like that (don't get me wrong, it's normal, don't push it too far). i don't know ow you can get knowledge from cartoons...but if you really seek knowledge, there is a very important fact that you shouldn't ignore: knowledge isn't just theory, you can't talk about love only in theory, love is something you just have to feel to know what is. it's the same with every relationship, if you don't socialize, you can't truly find the purpose of life, because you are not considering all the options. i'm not saying that you should do what your friends do, simply to experiment, because you'll meet some people who are just like you, who have the same problems, people who find their purpose, who know the answers for your questions. because i don't think that you can find the meaning of life sitting in front of the tv. i think that you use these rhetorical questions to hide truth, that you are not comfortable with your life ("i regret tat i am living in a virtual world.") if you feel in any way unsatisfied with your way of life, than it's time for a change. this is the most important thing.

as for the question if there is anyone else like this, i'm convinced that there is, but it doesn't mean that it's the right think to do. do what makes you happy, regardless if it is partying all the time or going to a concert or whatever.

Like just what are you into? If you were more specific I could speak to your issues better. I can tell you what happens after death if this is what you want to know. I can tell you how to control your own destiny and determine what will happen to you after you die. Would any of that help? What source or sources do you use for understanding about these topics? Are searching for truth? Is that it? Where have you looked for truth?
