Virtual Assisting?

Does anyone out there know if there are any technical schools or community colleges in Illinois that are offering courses in becoming a Virtual Assistant?? It seems easy but when you actually go onto sites such as Elance it becomes a little bit more difficult. I have questions such as how do you actually win the bid? Anyone know about the courses? Please help.

There are some colleges such as Red Deer college in Canada that offer courses in becoming a Virtual Assistant and I believe that are a few colleges in the United States as well but I do not have the names of those colleges.

I have been providing coaching for about 7 years to those who want to start a virtual assistant business. There are also other virtual training programs for Virtual Assistants as well, a quick search on Google should bring some up.

Becoming a Virtual Assistant is a great option for those looking to work from home and Elance is NOT the answer for getting VA work as you have many, many overseas companies offering services for just a couple of dollars per hour.

I would consider finding a virtual assistant coach to help you get started in the industry.
