I'm so confused. How do I figure out what to do for a job?

I am stuck in a rut. I have no idea what to do. I have my MBA, nothing fancy, just an MBA. I have experience in retail management, but do not want to do that anymore (no money, too stressful, can't stand the customer side of it). Honestly, my dream job is to be a Mom and wife. I've been happily doing that for a couple years now, but have to go back to work. I have never been a good employee, I think because I don't get along with customers. I like people, just not working with customers and their petty issues. I wish I could work for myself, as a home cleaner/organizer or a virtual assistant, but from the research I've done, it doesn't look like there's any money in either. I'd like real estate, but have no $ to start. I'd teach, but have no $ to get my "certificate". Do you have experience with a career counsellor? I am so lost. I really want to find a good fit, but I feel the best place for me is at home, being a Mom. I just don't deal well with people. Any ideas?

One of the big problems I have is this. I have no money to invest in classes and on top of that I have two young kids that are with me all the time. I can't afford daycare until I have a paycheck. I don't have the space for daycare at home. It just wouldn't work.

With your qualification, you should have a few options that on the table for you to selected. Firstly, you might need to consider to work from home instead, Secondly, what are the service that can minimum your interaction with client (face to face 鈥?if this is the issue).

Once you have the scope defined, you might then start plan out your direction and work for it. For example, if you do prefer to work from home, you might then consider being tutor for other children during day time while other family (father and mother) need to go out to work. Or alternative, you might consider writing article for the publisher.

If you do prefer to work in the office environment, I will suggest you consider to find job that allow you to work half day instead, so that you will have some quality time with your kids..

Since you enjoy the idea of motherhood, why not open your own daycare center or take some courses to be a kindergarten or elem. school teacher? You could also train to be a stockbroker or take an entry level job in a corporation. Almost any job is available to you: banking, real estate, etc. Or you could go to law school.

Try going on Craigs List.com. Click on your state then on the area you live in. They have an employment section. People who are looking for a cleaner/organizer would post something there.

If you want to be a mom and wife you're going to need to come up with some things to do from home. For example, I've found this web site that pays you to complete offers and take online surveys. There are lots of sites like it but this one works best for me. Maybe it'll work for you, too.
