Why can't i find a good job with a good salary?

i have so much experience in admin/secretarial - i am even considering starting a virtual assistant/pa system.

all the jobs that i find advertised are not what they seem - why are the employer allowed to get away with this? as for agencies, i wouldn't even go there...

These days you must do more for your job.

what more can i do for my job exactly? Idon't have one at present and i can't draw blood - employers get much more than they bargain for. To do more for a job you must earn more and be appreciated more - it works both ways not just one way street as it's often the case. Report It

I am sorry if I cannot be that clear. I can only speak from my experience. I am presently working in an IT line. My job is to administer the company network. My official position is to oversee the network in the company. If a PC is down, I not only have to know immediately which one but take Report It

corrective action to rectify it. I also need to know how to plan the route where data travels across the company network.

There is still a lot I need to do in addition to my current role. I also need to know how to set up my own network using the correct wires. I also know how to assemble computers Report It

and know how a computer is spoilt. Hardware or software?

As I am in charge of the equipment, I also need to know where to get the equipment, where to buy and the price. For new equipment, the company usually tender for sellers and get the lowest sales, but if I know personally where to get them at Report It

even cheaper price, I will have to bring them up to my GM. Through this, costing is kept lowest.

The same can be said when we look for people to create a new and complex network. Get the cheapest and the most reliable. But if we can set up the network, we do it

For you, I suggest you just keep searching for a job. You will find one eventually. Also, be prepared to get a completely different job. For this, you will have to learn new Report It

Perhaps the fault lies with you,are you over qualified for the positions your applying for or perhaps your not as good as you think ? Perhaps the best idea would be to work for yourself.

Because people want to pay peanuts now. Just find a job with no responsibility and as easy as possible because in the end you'll be no better off accepting more responsibility. Been there, done that.

Have you though about doing a home study course so you could maybe apply for jobs as a office manager or supervisor these days the workers don't seem to get any benefits just lost of work and know praise the managers just delegate to the administration staff anyway and get all the praise for doing nothing
