Virtual pc question some tech people? |
i tried something that microsoft said would support i tried to install virtual pc on window xp home edition i needed it bad on there to do my win2003 server simulation for a certification it worked problem was it screwed up my internet connection where i couldn't get online and if i did it would kick me off plus my isp wasn't give ip address now i am not sure but i think my culprit is a conflict wit tcp/ip i would like to know is there anybody out there that might know around this so i can use virtual pc on this junk o/s? MS Virtual PC 2004 is the version to use, I use it with XP Home and it appears to work without any issues. The current version MS Virtual PC 2007 appears to crash on Home edition. TCP/IP should not cause any issues to the best of my knowledge. Using it for server sim it can be run without needing external connections, if its run in a stand alone enviroment. Is this your problem? |
