I have inadvertently, recorded my e-mail address on two easily available web sites. How do I get rid of them? |
The two web sites are Virtual Aviation Museum and Adiemus. My wife tells me that one should never disclose one's e-mail address to the public domain. I have had no response in respect of either submission. I wouldn't be too stressed out about it if I was you. It's only an email address and I am sure that you have some sort of filter system on your email account to weed out any unwanted emails. If you can unsubscribe to the particular websites then that should remove your email address. Failing that you can just make a new one. there should be options on those sites to either display or hide your email address in the 'options' on the account. Go back and check out the FAQ's on the site. I have two e-mail addresses, one for giving out to companies on the net and the other for friends and family, that stops my personal e-mail address getting spammed. |
