Help with utorrent/ports? |
hi can anyone help, i have been into my router home page which is a belkin F5D7230-4 and i think i have entered the ports ok. i went into virtual servers and typed the port i use in u torrent(64068) to forward, but i dont know if i have forwarded them to the right ip. do i have to forward them to the u torrent address and if so what is it? i tried a speed test in u torrent and it came up with this :Checking port 64068 on 82.40.247.203... You should know what IP your own PC is on your own network. That's how you know which IP to forward to! Your port may be a bit to high. Try like 10 digits lower. I use utorrent (microtorrent) and it works fine for me. You could just be experiencing a slow server because there aren't enough seeds or you are too far away. |
