I typed "locate <american_city>" in Yahoo search?

and I expected to see a map. I think it works in Google but I forgot the syntax (street addresses work this way). If i type "locate <thanjavur>" then it can zoom into that location in a virtual model of earth (I think Google earth has this but they havent integrated int in online application - it is a standalone application)

If you go to Yahoo Maps and enter the city but no address, you'll get an overall map of the city you entered.

Its the same in Yahoo, it is a standalone. You have to type in Yahoo Maps and then type in the City, address, so on and so forth..

Why don't you just Add to Favorites and save a lot of time searching for it.

Which reminds me, I have so many favorites I need to organize them into folders and delete some that are not so favorite anymore. Thanks!
