Temporary Social Security Card?

I'm 15 years old and I have to take my permit test in California. My parents lost my Social Security card and have to reapply to get another one. Will the Social Security office give a temporary card? I need it to take the permit test and its on Thursday =[

I have actually memorized the number, my parents have it on file in their income tax invoices, but they do not know where the card is. I need to present the card to the DMV before I take the test.

You should really try to memorize the number sometime. Nine digits. A little longer than a telephone number, but it's still pretty easy.
