Does anyone know where microsoft update downloads the temporary files needed for installing afterwards?

For example: I choose to download Office 2003 service pack3 (high priority) and I want to take the (temp) setup files and put them on a cd so I don't have to download over & over again (i work in network administration and there are over 100 pc's in our company)

I would download the file and make a command file that copies the file to the users temp directory then runs the file. Put the sp and the cmd on a CD or a share point. The install file could be simple like:

install.cmd
copy Office2003SP3-KB923618-FullFile-ENU.exe %temp%
c:
cd %temp%
Office2003SP3-KB923618-FullFile-ENU.ex...

if you are using windows XP means the downloaded file will be place exactly in this folder where as
C:\Documents and Settings\user name(login user )\Local Settings\Temp

Once After the process of installation the files are deleted automatically it self because they program like this if you need those files means once downloading is ended copy it in another place safely
