The company I worked for put me on temporary suspension.?

they pulled us in one by one into the office and said each one of us did the same thing. they suspended us all, but there is no way i would do what they said.I asked for proof which they said they did not have. all the others have been called back to work , i have called twice a week for over a month now only to find out our HR was forced to quit for messing with peoples jobs. I cannot get anything out of the company and I feel I should have been back to work because i did not do what they had stated. is there anything I can do? sueing is out of the question cause they win all their cases. I feel i was wrongly suspended and cannot find work now. I am almost 50 yrs old. thanks for any input

I have contacted the EEOC here and if it is not discrimination , there is nothing I can do. This is Mississippi and they can get rid of an employee for no reason at all.

In My own personal experience EEOC is a waste of tax payers money. EEOC has shown incompetence can reach a high level if one works at it hard enough, and they did.

Contact a private attorney, but first, file a claim with the state labor commisioner as "wrongful termination".

Go ahead and file the EEOC claim anyway, they can only enquire as to your termination and you can use that as a discovery point for the labor board.

Due to your age, file a age discrimination charge against them via EEOC and site the others kept in employment were younger than you, were thay? If so, use it, this will cause your former employer to go ito defensive mode and bring up a host of reasons for letting you go. Let EEOC know your intenhd on going federal with this in court, so, get an attorney and play the game as they are playing you.

good luck.

Good luck.

Contact your local Labor Department for your state. Also check out EEOC as they are THE BEST source of information regarding illegal work practices.

Call the Labor Board in your state and have them investigated for unfair labor practices. In cases like this, if you ask for proof, they have to show it. Sounds to me like you have an excellent case. If the HR was forced out for srewing up, you definetly should be back to work and paid for your time off. CALL THE NATIONAL LABOR BOARD IN YOUR STATE!!!!

As you indicate EEOC has already told you that you have no case, you need to find another job and move on. No lawyer is going to take a case on a contingency basis that they know they are going to lose.

You could try filing for unemployment, but as you indicate that you "quit" for whatever reason, it is highly unlikely that you will qualify.

You many need to relocate to another state that has less unemployment.

Definitely file unemployment, then the labor union in your State.
