Recruitment Agencies?

Can you suggest any good reliable recruitment agencies who can supply me with permanent or temporary to permanent office administration work in the West Midlands region?

In general, is it best to meet such agencies on a face to face basis, or is it just sufficient to register with them over the internet? What about recruitment agencies that are just based over the net. What are your experiences of both types of agencies?

I've tried registering with recruitment agencies for the same sort of work but in Essex, don't know if that makes any difference.

They promise you everything & never deliver. If you want a string of temporary work where you're travelling all over the place so its not even worth the money then fine, but other than that I think they are totally incapable of fulfilling what they set out to do in the first place.

Registering over the net is even more of a disaster as you end up being the one to chase them up over the application instead of the other way around, which I thought it should be seeing as though thy are the ones providing a service.

If you're going to do it face-to-face is probably best but even then don't get sucked in by the hype, at the end of the day they're sales people and its what they do.

My advice would be to trust in your own ability to look fo work because if these morons can get hold of the vacancies I'm sure you can too.
