This is the second time in two months that my temporary caps?

have completely popped out before my appointment for the permanant ones to be put in.. Is it me or the dental office that's doing it? They are in teeth with fillings or have had fillings.. They are in the back right hand side.. I have no pain yet..

Temporary crowns often fall out. It's just the nature of the beast. Especially if your tooth was a short one to begin with before being prepared for a crown.

Tell your dentist to try using "Dycal" as a temporary cement if you must have a non-eugenol cement. We are getting away from certain classic products because they are not compatible with the newest resin cements for permanent crowns, but their replacements are just not all that good yet.

Gosh, I'm wondering why it takes 2 months to get your permanent crowns back on! Anyway, call the office to have your temp recemented. Or, you can do it yourself. Temporary cement is sold at most pharmaceuticals. Try not chewing hard, sticky objects on the side as the temp and don't snap your floss between your temp and tooth next to it, slide it through them.
