Hi, I am a 21 yr old female Law student currently in my 2nd year at the University of Westminster. I really need some valuable experience in either a mini-pupillage at a barristers' chambers or working in a solicitors office during a work placement or temporary/permanent part time employment. Law is a formal field. You won't do well to advertise for positions on Y!A. Try making personal contacts with your local bar association or through your college instead.

Also, in the US attorney's like people who are proactive -- go out to the firms and ask to speak to an administrator or managing partner to see if they will hire you.

I know nothing about law but I do know that the citizens advice bureau look for trainee law student to volunteer for them. There does appear to be some sort of benefit by doing this but as I said, I know nothing about law...
