Can an employee of public sector while on maternity leave can take up a short term job in another govt dept.? |
Thre maternity leave is up to 23 Dec07 and I am being offered the temporary f/t job in a government office for 6 months. I can join by 23 July 07. Presently,I am not taking any salary from the present employer. No you can not you would be violating about 4 laws and 200 or so regulations. You cannot take up work and still be on leave. You would have to relinquish the position that you are on leave from. |
