Punish the employers? $12 million in proceeds lost including office building? |
"The president of a temporary-labor contracting company operating in Ohio and Tennessee and two other people associated with the company pleaded guilty to federal charges of conspiring to send hundreds of illegal immigrants to work for an air cargo business, federal prosecutors and immigration officials said. As part of his plea, Maximino Garcia, 43, president of the Garcia Labor Company, agreed to forfeit $12 million in proceeds, including an office building in Wilmington, Ohio. Also pleading guilty were Dominga McCarroll, 53, Mr. Garcia鈥檚 sister and a former vice president of the company, and Gina Luciano, 40, director of human relations. Mr. Garcia admitted that he had sent more than 400 illegal immigrants to work loading cargo at ABX Air in Wilmington under contracts spanning five years." YES!!! down with bush amen , yippee, confetti flying I think it was about time they finally started going after the true culprits of illegal immigration. Sounds like Mr. Garcia, is yet another pro-illegal, willing to sell out his own people to make a buck. As an employer if you do not verify citizen status you should be penalized. Are you feeling alright? More crackdowns on employers is where I think the greatest impact on reducing illegal immigration can be made. And on the people who help produce fake ID. These people are ABSOLUTELY treasonous to the USA and should be prosecuted to the FULLEST extent of the law. There needs to be much more reporting of this sort of stuff in the news. If it happens often enough, it will take away the incentives for employers to hire illegals and that will take away a large part of the incentives for illegals to come here. Further, the "anchor baby" law should be stricken from the books ASAP and ALL social services benefits should be denied to illegal immigrants except for emergency medical care only and they should be deported as soon as they are found applying for any services whatsoever, including trying to enroll their children in schools. |
