Which temp agencies have you had success with in Chicago? |
I have a bachelor's degree in psychology, plus I can type fairly quickly, and have a basic familiarity with a range of software products like MS office and things like that. But I am now looking for temporary or temp-to-hire work here in Chicago, without success. Someone suggested I contact a temp agency...so here is my question: What temp agencies IN CHICAGO have you had success with? In most cases a temp agency will simply fill jobs already available to you on sites like monster and careerbuilder. You say you have no success yet, but how long have you been looking. Surely you can find something on your own - and you will make more money. My advice is this, for every 100 resumes you submit, you will get 2-3 leads or interviews. Of those 2-3 you will be lucky to get 1 offer. Submit - Submit and Submit - then go to websites of all local companies you know of and look at their career opportunities. |
