Sending request letter for job transfer in location? |
Is it formal to send a job transfer request via e-mail? I am working in a company where i was assigned far from our place of residence, this was supposedly a temporary assignment for me, but it was almost a year now since i was transfered here, our company has a branch near to our place and i made a letter requesting for a transfer in location, i have send it via e-mail since our central office is quite far from our office where i am assigned now, do i need to send my letter via fax? to make it considerably formal? e-mail is considered a legal document in most countries, however, doing it the old fashioned way of actually writing using paper, envelope and a stamp could be considered to be more personal as well as more formal and less likely to be ignored (SPAM filters have been legitimately blamed for all sorts of things going adrift). |
