My Windows Vista won't let me access Internet Explorer or CD Drive?

Has this got something to do with it being the evaluation copy? (it was only going to be a temporary installation to try it out first) I have ran that program that activates it, but I still get messages saying it will not work in 23 hours sort of thing and it says access to my network is denied so IE won't work and it won't read discs in the drive. I did install an illegitimate copy of microsoft office though, is this what has caused the problem? I can install microsoft works instead if I get the retail version, can copied software make it not work?

basically it seems like your vista is illegitimate. copied software is basically piracy, and you can get into serious trouble.

to see if your vista is activated or not, go into welcome center in vista, then click "show more details" beside your computer stats. if it says that windows is not activated, click "activate"

but if u are using vista beta release candidates, then u will have to buy a copy of vista soon as all beta rcs will expire by july this year.
