Possible gall bladder pain?

I was slammed Sunday afternoon with a horrible stomach ache that I dismissed as possible food poisoning or another stomach virus going around(they keep going around the office). The pain is very intense and in the abdominal area. Alot of gas, diarrhea and awful cramps. When I do, uh, ok, yes, fart, it relieves some pressure and I have temporary comfort. Then it comes back. When I move or stand, I am in pain. They come in waves of pain thru the mid-section of my chest and abdominal area. I have not had this kind of pain since I had food poisoning(not thoroughly chicken and a trip in the squad). The pain is unbelievable but once again, since I have been to the bathroom so much and seeing bile, I thought maybe a stomach virus. I thougth it would pass but then thought this am, what if it is my gall bladder?! I think I need to see a medical professional!! :-) Any ideas? It feels alot like food poisoning pain. ughh!

There is indeed a nasty stomach virus just starting to make the go-around, said to last 3 weeks. They're calling it the Minerva II after the cruise ship from which it was first detected. But, I will say this sounds more like the same problem I get when I eat too much greasy fast-food, and the magic-bullet cure that always works for me is those fiber supplements that old folks take.
