Did you know that 35% of Americans are Hispanic, Latino and they are U.S Citizens, just like you?

I wish someone would do a good study and talk about the real Americans, 30% of the Americans come from some type of Hispanic, Latin, Mexican, Puerto Rican background or national origin. They are Americans, U.S Citizens born here and most likely they've been here forever or for many generations. We are talking about a huge amount of our American people here if we talk about 30% of our population. However, after analyzing the situation about illegal immigration and all that.... we are creating a HUGE racial problem here, we are making believe many of our children and white Americans that every Hispanic person on the street or that every Latin person on the street is (illegal) and that's not even close to that. I work for the government and I also go to college and out of every 10 people working for the government 4 are from Hispanic origin, out of 10 professionals working as Doctors, Attorneys, Office people 4 or 5 our of hispanic origin and they are Americans....

In many states where Hispanics have been here for every or for many generations like Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, we know and understand because we see it, our own police officers are Hispanic, many of our Doctors, even you get a ticket and to go court and the judge might be Hispanic, so we know the difference between an American hispanic, latino and someone illegal in this country, and believe me we don't like illegal immigration at all. however, I know that someone has to be my maid or your maid, somebody has to cut your grass and pick up the fruits. Am I going to do that job? Hell no, any of my fellow Hispanic Americans or white Americans would do that job? most likely NO.
we are not going to be the maids or the dishwashers or the fruitpickers.

Who will do it? of course only illegal aliens, no one else?
do we have to deport them? I don't think that would be a good idea because if we are realistic, we wouldn't get much done with the labor work that we need in this country.
Do we have to give them a permanent residence? NO, NO, NO....
not so easy, Amigos... not so easy cause many people that came here LEGALLY had to wait years for them to get a permanent residency status...
so, what can we really do? GIVE THEM SOME TYPE OF WORK PERMIT, TEMPORARY.
EVERY TWO YEARS YOU HELP US WITH YOUR LABOR WORK, you keep this country running and then you are out because you don't really belong here, make a little bit of pesos and go home, then we get some more, we invite them to come here with a work permit already, two years... help us with your work that NOBODY ELSE WILL DO and there you go. everyone is happy.....

did I make my point, illegal immigration don't support it, but think smart also don't descriminate because in reality they are not bad people, most of them are family oriented. and another thing please, please understand the main point of this discussion, Hispanics does not mean illegal AT ALL... respect your fellow Americans and together let's be one nation....

We should leave that clear, illegal immigration is a totally different situation. if you go to California, New York, Florida, New Mexico, Arizona etc.
30 to 35% of the population are HISPANIC AMERICANS, WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL THEM, we call everyone American, if you are born in this country it doesn't matter if your grandparents came from Europe, Spain, England, Italy, Mexico..

It doesn't matter if you are Black, White, Black Latino, White Latino, Native American or plain white..... you are an American you are an American period....

Illegal immigration is a different subject, Do I support it? No, of course not... Something has to be done but as I said that's a different subject.... I'm just trying to make a point of what Real Americans are.....

Mrs. Johnson will be the bus boy?
come on Americans wake up, why so much hate?
let's do something, and let's do it SMART... leave all your racial feelings somewhere else because that's the way that we are going if we don't stop that hate....

I really hope that somebody makes a report of this, gathers more information... go to government agencies, colleges, large organizations.... do something...

When I read this I was behind you and supporting you all the way ... Until i reached the crap on illegal immigration. I thought you had a good argument running for Latino people both as citizens and as immigrants (legal or illegal).

Let's not forget that quite a bit of America was inhabited by the people of Mexico before colonizers came and committed GENOCIDE and drew Arbitray lines in the dirt. Just because an aribitrary line is drawn Does Not Make It OK! These people are the real ancestors of this country and they have a right to return to their HOMELAND anytime they see fit. Or do we continue to commit the acts of the colonizers and beat, brutalize, and spread false truths?

I want to say that I believe even if you are not born in this country, some people have rights here. Their ancestors were born here. Land was stolen from them so they have the right to return. Even if it was their ancestors that were born here and not them. Report It

Just thought you should know that Hispanics constitute 14.5% of the population, not 35%. Kind of a big difference. Report It
