Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black Muslim from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white atheist from Wichita, Kansas. Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii.



When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a radical Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a Muslim school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic school.



Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, he was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school.



Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son's education. Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama鈥檚 mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Osama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta. Wahabism is the radical teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world.



Since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when seeking major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background.

Many people say Obama is a muslim, yet he claims to be christian. I don't believe either. Of course, it's God who decides who is a christian, but there is nothing in Obama's life to show that he is. I think he is like most Democrats, and is really an athiest underneath. It's just that there are too many christians that wouldn't vote for an athiest. Hillary claims to be methodist. Does anybody really believe that? I don't believe Obama is christian, but I don't believe he is muslim either.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Virtually no politician in high office is really believes Christian mythology. It would be quite rare for somebody of their education to be a committed Christian.
It is merely something you have to say in America to get elected.

Yes, Obama is a Christian. I'm not sure why you include so many false statements in your biography though. You should do a little research before you include so many things that aren't true. People aren't going to take you seriously if you say things like

Obama isn't a Muslim and has never been a Muslim. He has never been "quick to point out that he was once a Muslim." In fact, he has never said that he has been a Muslim at any time. He is a Christian.

Religion is not a deciding factor for me, and it shouldn't be for anyone. We're voting for a President, not a Pope, keep religion out of it.

This is the typical slander that Republicans send out every election. It is being sent out by Warren Tompkins of SC (the same guy who sent out the rumor of McCain's illegitimate black child for Bush in 2000). They are saying it's Hillary's rumor to kill 2 birds with one stone.

Other groups sent out a Romney Christmas card with a reference to polygamy in it.

BTW, It is all irrelevant. Obama is a Christian. God says your "history" does not determine whether you are saved or not. a person saved 1 second ago is no less a Christian that one saved 100 years ago. This only makes me question your Christianity as any "real" Christian should know this.

It doesn't matter what he once was, or who his parents are. It only matters what he is now. And only he truly knows, though some close to him probably have a good idea.

Senator Obama converted to Christianity sometime around law school, I do believe; I read his book "Dreams from My Father" but have yet to start into his follow-up, "The Audacity of Hope."

I think, however, that we shouldn't look at where a person worships (or not), but instead should look at his actions, his opinions, his attitudes. I've met many people who call themselves Christians but don't act in accord to the tenants of Christianity; I've met non-Christians, in turn, who seem to follow every one of Christ's teachings. All you're talking about here is slapping a label on someone: "Christian". "Non-Christian". "Muslim." "Atheist." That's easy to do. To determine who a person actually is - that's the tough part.
