Sick at work?

I work at a factory in the shipping office. I check the trucks in and out. I am having to work a 12 hour shift tonight. I get off in 6 hours. I am having EXTREME nausea and I haven't told my employer that I am pregnant yet due to I am on a temporary "trial" basis. I am in TN so it is a will to work state. My question is... does anyone know of anything that might be useful in dealing with this nausea while at work.

Going home is not an option. I will lose my job.

You should probably eat something. Cheeze nips worked great for my nausea. No caffene, that will probably make it worse.

try running naked up and down the hallways , driveways , any public area , and dont forget lapdances for everyone , let me know i it werks ;-p

ginger. get some candied ginger, or even just ginger root (grate it and chew on it, don't eat it.)

eat crackers it will help with your nausea. and sniffing an orange relieves nausea feeling.

Hello from a fellow Tennesseean. Try some peppermint. It works for me. And see if someone has some Pepto Bismol.

They have these suckers called Prego Pops ( I think that's the name) that are supposed to relieve morning sickness. If that doesn't work I'd keep some Ritz crackers in my coat pocket and munch on them when I started feeling sick. Good luck. I know the feeling honey.

For a natural refreshing remedy get some ginger root. Ginger is known to calm upset stomachs. Take your ginger and cut it into pieces. Smash it up to get it juicy. Boil it in some distilled or spring bottled water. Add one of your favorite tea bags to the pot. This drink can be enjoyed hot or cold. (Add your favorite sweetner, honey, sugar, equal, or splenda. If you drink this, your nausea will subside. When you do drink this, drink it hot or warm. A nauseated stomach does not like cold liquids.

Carry some crackers that you like and nibble on them
