Does anyone have any suggestions on how to create a winning sales script, for a telephone answering service.?

I'd like to start my own telephone answering service, but I am unsure on how to approach new clients. I would appreciate any input you might have, on how to create a winning sales script. Something I can refer to when calling potential clients. (so I dont get tongue tied)

basically there is no such thing as a winning sales script nor a cure all script for all occasions. having done oodles of telephone work and sales, it's all unique. keep in mind you're telemarketing your services and people, once they hear anything remotely considered sales over the phone are immediately turned off. once done, there are few chances of recovering from that. even if you were to make up and winning sales script, it will sound as if you're reading from a script, EVERY SINGLE TIME. all people are different, all people react differently to certain stimuli. telephone work is very tricky and you have to on the ball at all times in order to convey your reason for calling. once you start bumbling, you;re done. end of story. only thing you can really focus on is keeping the party interested. ask efficient questions without going too in depth. instead of simply finding what to say, find out what to ASK instead. this way you can control the conversation and get to where you want to go.
