How do u answer the telephone?

Normally I pick it up, being careful to hold the earpiece near my ear, and the mouth piece near my mouth- then I take a deep breath and say" Dominos -would you like to hear our specials-what's your home phone number-can you hold - thanks!!!!"

I pick it up and say, 'hello'.

hello?

Hello

idk lol

Boringly. Either:

"Hello?"

or

"Good Morning!" (any time of day)

I say hello

"Hello"
I guess it's not the most "etiquettiest" way...

I once shared an apartment with a woman who answered the phone;

"Traverse City morgue. You stab em, we'll slab em."

She just laughed when I told her I didn't like it. We weren't room mates long.

Just a simple "Hello?" not anything exciting or out there.

I can't think of any other way than "hello". Can you?

With my cell phone, I say hello. With my home phone I know its somebosy desperatley wanting me to refinance my home so i pick up,"yes,this is the homeowner with an interest rate of .... and no,I dont want to refinance."

Pick it up, press 'yes' (cell) or put the receiver to my head (house), say "hello". Don't want to complicate something as simple as answering the phone, y'know.

I don't say hello - I say yellow - don't know why just do
If it's my kids they always say some other color
then we just talk

I use my hand to answer the phone. Then I say hello.

"hello" "hi" simple two words.

so many answers for such a simple question. Your going to have a hard time choosing the best. I say Hello, at my brothers house if one of the kids answer, they say "Last name residence"

Pick the telephone and say hello and if you want say your name too and the residence.

i let it ring twice so my caller id will kick in and then if i dont know the person calling , ill pick up and say smith residence, chris speaking how may i help you?
if i recognize the name a simple hello or hiya!
