How fast do i have to answer a telephone to receive an answer, just before it rings? The typical ring cycle is one second ringing, three seconds pause. If you happen to pick up the phone during that three second pause before the first ring you can answer the call before the phone has rung. However a ringing cycle does not start and stop with every different telephone call. The ringing cycle generator is constantly going its just connected and disconnected to your call, therefore you can have a call connected in the middle of the ring cycle (eg only a one second pause before the first ring or just a half second first ring then three seconds of a pause). thats not such a crazy q i have infact done this lifted the reciever befor the first ring and what was more amazing was it was the person that i was about to ring Depends what answering service you have. sorry love don't understand your question - surely if you answer the phone is because it rings. You would have to lift the receiver just as the call connected to your line, the ring is a fixed cycle of rings and pause, so the maximum is the pause period between rings. |

If... there is something like that at radioshack you put something on a cell phone and apply it to your telephone when you have calls to your house it automatically goes to your cell phone. go to radiosh... easy...cheap labour! its cheaper to pay 3 indian people than one brittish person! ... |
