Funny story, though...My little brother's first grade teacher taught him the proper thing to say is "Hello. This is the _____ residence. _____ speaking"....which, of course, nobody says. Anyway, to test them on it, she called all her students' homes to see how they answered. I always thought that was lame. But that lady was crazy. She was married four times, twice to the same guy.
