How can i answer my home telephone while being connected to online service,if so what equipment is neeeded?

You need to have a .v92 modem, your ISP has to have a .v92 line, and you need call waiting.

Most ISP's have software that will allow you to do this although they may charge you.

if you have a dial up connection i don't think that its possible but if you have a high speed connection like road runner and you have call-waiting it is possible

I use the ADSL Router . Model DSL-G604T . Broadband.
It will allow u to use desktop , laptop with phone simultaneously together.
