How can you complain about DSS telephone staff, when they dont even answer the friggin' phone?

rang local jobcentre & they said the social fund dept. has been centralised & you can only complain through them....but how can you when you can't even get through.

its taking the p 1 55

The sit tells you how to complain. It will take you to further sites depending on who you want to complain to, and you can do so by writing.

Get ur asian but down to the actualy building!

ah dont wanna HAV to say it again sister! you know exactly wer im cuming from and that is alllllllllllllll thats important now baby girl

holla xx

What did you use to type this question? How did the question get here? That's two clues i have given you. Have you heard that old saying? The pen is mightier than the sword?Think.

With great difficulty - they are a law unto themselves.

how about email?

Well, this is gonna frustrate you in so many ways...you can go down in person if you really feel strongly about the complaint, and someone will patiently listen and hand you a form to fill out. About 2 weeks later, you'll get a letter thanking you for your complaint, and letting you know that they are addressing the problem (they won't specify how).

I can't wait for universal health coverage...this is what it's gonna be like!

They're bloody useless.
At ours if you needed to see them about anyrthing you used to be able to go in and wait for an appointment. Last time I went in to get a letter stamped by them they said you now have to ring up for an appointment. So now I try ringing up and they don't pick the bloody phone up. I have to keep trying & trying. It would be much quicker if I just went down and and saw them like before. I only live a five minute walk away, now it takes even longer.

Everything to do with the DSS has been centralised. When my partner was out of work recently they messed us about so much with his JSA claim and I couldn't even go down to the Jobcentre and speak to someone as it had all been "centralised".

Luckily he found a job after 3 weeks, I'd have gone mad having to deal with those idiots for longer than that.

Keep trying, sometimes when it seems like the phone is just ringing its actually in a queueing system.

I know what you are saying

These people are being paid , to do a job , how is it if they don't , they are not charged with fraud
