Telephone number, background check, employment history?

Any suggestions as to the best place to perform: social securty number, background, telephone number, employment history, etc verification searches?

Checking different places and finding some much better than other with the sample results that are returned I am turning to the great community of Yahoo Answers.

Former employers tell me they can perform searches and see previous years payroll amounts, criminal history, previous employers, current and past addresses and even vehicle registrations.

Is there a service site that anyone can recommend that is the most inclusive? Reluctant to pay for the service only to receive partial information or end up being 'upsold'.

Various questions I've asked here before have always resulted in some very helpful information and there's another one for you.

I really don't think that there is a free website that can give you all that information... Unfortunately, you'll have to pay for something to get that load of info....
