If you multiply all the numbers on the telephone, IN ORDER starting with #1, what is the answer?

Zero

Answer is zero.

362880

Without counting the zero key, it would be 9! or 362,880
I think, it's been a while since I messed with factorials.

0, because the number pad contains 0. Therefore, 0 multiplied by anything = 0

1 * 2 = 2
2 * 3 = 6
6 * 4 = 24
24 * 5 = 120
120 * 6 = 720
720 * 7 = 5040
5040 * 8 = 40320
40320 * 9 = 362880
362880 * 0 = 0

The Star symbol could be considered to be another multiply sign, so it could be said you are either mutliplying 362880 by itself, or by zero two times. So, the answer would change as so:
40320 * 9 = 362880
362880 * 362880 = 131681894400
131681894400 * 0 = 0
or
362880 * 0 = 0 * 0 = 0

The Pound sign could be considered a representation of a variable, an unknown number, so of course that could change things again. The final answer would either be
131681894400 * N(#) = ?
Regardless of that answer, the outcome would again result in zero, as any number multiplied by zero equals zero.

not including 0 it is 362880 but it always should come out to 0

answer is 0

Zero it is

The answer is Zero....anything multiplied by zero is zero. So since Zero is the last number in order on a telephone, the answer has to be zero.

The answer is 362880. You said multiply all numbers on the phone IN ORDER starting with #1. That would mean multiplying the numbers 1-9. The answer is then 362880. I would not multiply that number by zero because you said in order starting with 1 and multiplying that number by zero would be taking zero out of order since zero actually is before 1 numerically. Therefore, I would stop multiplying at #9, otherwise I would be going out of order. Therefore, based on what you said, zero would never enter into my equation.

IF THAT INCLUDES 0 THEN ITS 0... IF IT DOESNT... THEN LET ME DO DA MATH... 1X2=2X3=6X4=24X5=120X6=720X7=5040X8=4032... UR ANSWER... 362880

The answer is 362880 starting at #1 and ending at #9. If I were to have used the 0, the answer would be 0, but following the directions as stated if and starting in order with 1 then 0 would be excluded because it comes before 1, therefore the answer has to be 362880.
