How can you delete your NTL Telephone Number from the database of Marketing Companies?

I donot want to waste my time answering unwanted calls as I donot have a caller ID Phone.

Telephone Preference service, while you are at it stop all the junk mail by contacting the Mail Preference service

Contact the Telephone preference service. Just google it to get details

Go on line to Donot call.gov. They will take your number off. You may still get a few calls but you can tell them they will be reported.

The telephone preference service, as above, works very well.
It does take 4 weeks to fully be updated, after which, not one call! (ive tried it after my dad reccomended it).
Dont give your number out again though, in a form or "registration" details and so on, as lots of even trusted companies pass it on, and it all begins again, as youve given new permissions, after notifying the service! (a small quirk!)..(a bit like cancelling a direct debit and then putting a new one on)
