I was given a traffic ticket while going through Ohio. I called the telephone number on the back....?

of the pink ticket but nobody is answering. I know I'm supposed to show up in court on wednesday 05/30/2007. Since I live in Bloomington, IN which is about 6 hours from where the court is, I'd like to postpone the court date but not sure of how to do that. Who should I talk to about that? I'm not an american and don't know anything about the court system here in the US. It's so confusing !!!

Well since today is June 1st, I guess it doesn't really matter now. So now there is probably a bench warrant issued for you. Sooner or later you will be making that court date. In the mean time, contact the city court clerk of the municipality that you got the ticket.

Slohio decided to put a state trooper every 10 miles on the interstate and lay the rest of them off.
I suggest keep trying to call that number. People that work for the government dont want to work there way out of a job.

show up for court, or get a lawyer!

Well, since it is past, don't worry...You'll be hearing from them...They'll show up at your door and run you in for failing to appear...
