I need a telephone with large keypad and hearing impaired assist. Cn you help me?

The phone is for a friend who is legally blind and hard of hearing.
Keypad must have extra large keys and optional lighted background, be digital with answer/caller ID and loud ringer for incoming calls.

Try your local council on aging. A lady in our church who is legally blind and is hard of hearing obtained one through our local agency. It also has some kind of emergency service hooked up through it. Good luck!

call your local phone company... they should have all the equipment you need, and because your friend is legally handicapped it should be free.

Thank you Wild, yes Radio Shack has an excellant line of the Clarion Phone Family. Large buttons, flashing indicator to tell you when a call is coming in, equilizers and volume controls to the ring and ear piece, Corded and cordless, desk or wall. I think they range 49 to 99 dollars. Some even have answering machines.

contact you service provider. in the uk you can get this free from some service providers you also get ringer bells to plug in to your line jack units so you can here them better .
