And what is this telephone number??????

Please tell me if the following US phone number is a
- Mobile number, or
- normal landline number, or
- number with special charges???:

1-877-461-2XXX ... i have put XXX for last 3 digits.

I just want to make sure that it is not a "number with extra charge". My service provider gives me free calling to Landline and Mobiles of USA. So if it's Landline or Mobile, no problems.

So I just want to make sure that it is not one of those telemarketing big money eating special numbers.

The prefix 877 is usually "toll free". Unless after you connect they tell you you will be charged, but they must give you a buffer to hang up or sometimes these lines will tell you to hang up and call a charged line.
But to answer your question, these are usually toll free land lines for non-residential customers.
