What does it mean when you answ. the telephone and it starts to ring on the other end? |
I have not placed any calls and the phone will ring, I answer it and it will start to ring on the other end ????And they answer??????? Usually they are telemarketers. They have systems that don't require them to be on the phone unless somebody on the other end answers. At that point their phone rings - and when they answer - they start their pitch. Annoying, isn't it? This is a great answer and I think that just might very well be the case. Thank you...I will look into this further and see if that is illegal????????THX Report It It could mean that they called you and your line was busy and they selected the option to have it keep trying to call your phone, then ring theirs when there is finally an answer. i remember *6x, the one that redials do that.. itll call back the last person you called.. that other person picks it up.. itll ring and then connect |
