How can I find information on cordless telephone frequencys?

Most of them fall into one of 4 categories:
49 MHz
900 MHz
2.4GHz
5.8GHZ

Usually looking at the phone base will give you some idea as to what band they are on. Also, most of the newer ones use spread spectrum technology. This means that the phone frequency hops several times a second. It would make it next to impossible to monitor.
