i do not answer, and i do not return the calls. why does he not get the message? he beleives i am afraid of being let down by him but the truth is i have no interest in him. why is it that some people are so persistant?

You know what they say - little things please little minds. He is obviously a bit of a saddo. If I were you I would either change my number or block his - whichever is easiest. He might get the message then.

Well it either sounds like he just plain cant let go, or unfortunately maybe he is bordering on something a little more sinister. I would suggest perhaps getting in touch with the police and having them warn him to cease contact and perhaps you should also change your number. take care.

he so desperately wants you back, he's not thinking straight. I have made many a drunken phone call to exes in the past but not cos I'm a crazy *****, but just cos i missed him. When i didn't want him anymore, i stopped calling! jus keep doin wat ur doin, ignore him. he wil eventually get over you and stop calling and texting etc.

Some are unable to accept change......or rejection. He could also be obsessed with you. When he starts showing up on your doorstep, PLEASE consider a restraining order.

How long has it been since you called it quits? Maybe he thinks that he can still get back with you. He could be thinking that it's just one of those break ups where you'll eventually get back together. The only thing that I would worry about is if he begins to follow you and start to stalk you. I'd also be extremely fearful and careful if he's ever been abusive with you. If he has been abusive and thinks that it actually is over, he may do something crazy or dangerous to you so be careful.

because he has now figured out that he loves you... men! i don't know what goes through his mind, but if you don't answer or return his calls you really don't know what it is he wants, maybe you left something at his house. I know what phone him and tell him it's too soon and you really want to end the relationship but because you still have feelings for him you will drop your guard and resolve and get back into bad habits and because you love him you don't want to hurt neither him nor you. At any rate a message can't be sent silently! Maybe you should get some Dutch courage and do the right thing, sounds like you never bothered to tell him just expected him to be on your train of thought. And lastly they are persistent because they are in the dark, or too a bright a light.

If you make it clear to this loser that you just don't like him maybe then he'll get the message, he's probably thinking your busy that's why you're not replying etc! Spell it out to him, otherwise you're gonna have him on your case for a long while yet!

they are sad and can't seem to move on. i think they have control issues. as long as he's not threatening you don't worry about it. you can't be contacting the police and going through crap to make him stop all the time. most people have a 'psycho' ex of some kind to deal with. my bf's ex doesn't seem to understand they are not together anymore. she rings or texts him every so often and he's just polite and friendly to her and hopes she'll get bored and move on when she's ready. it does upset me but it's just part of life i guess. so i'm trying not to be upset and just view it as an occasional nuisance. i suggest you do the same unless it become harrassment or stalking
