the webpage i get for cellphone or telephone number checking is is only valid within US only. What I want is world wide.Lets say today i get a number with strange numbering, how can I know where the number from lets say +46709961306 or 46709961306??

if the caller is not witholding his/her number, you can trace it thru the country's code number of the phone that is showing on your screen. but to get the full details of that phone number, it is very difficult esp if is not registered for public directory record. only telephone numbers that are registered or recorded in the telephone directory can be traced up will full details. if not, you can't as it won't come up or won't display.
like one of my private landline number, whatever pages you will try to look for it, it cannot be traced up. but my other landline number, you will only input the complete number and booms, it will display all what is written in the tel directory.
*telephone numbers that is not publicly recorded/registered is secured by the telephone company to avoid privacy leaks of the owner of that number.

www.whitepages can tell you where the # is from most of the time and sometimes who has the landline #. cell phone #'s though it wil only tell you which company owns the #. but you can do a google search on the area code and prefix to find out where what area it is from, for example do a search on 712-304 and it will come up as atlantic, ia

do a reverse phone number seach online. cell phones usually are not listed but they will usually tell you the city and state it is out of.
