Why did HSBC disable my internet banking?

i can definitely say that hsbc sucks.

anyhow my internet and telephone banking got disabled just right now..

they say that for "security reasons" my security code must be reset.. and I DONT KNOW WHY damn it.. i have to visit the bank again.

anyway do u guys have any clue at all why they disabled my internet and telephone banking??? pls answer asap this never happened before.. now im afraid to use the cash machine coz may be it will eat my card

Can you call them? If there's no option to speak to a real person try hitting "0" on the phone or saying "Customer Service" if it's one of those annoying voice activated menus.

I've heard that HSBC sucks. Doesn't surprise me at all.

I have online banking but it's with old national bank I love it. If someone tries to get into your account and uses the user name or password three times and it 's wrong they shut down your bank account until you call them.So you can't get in to online which is a really good idea since I have experienced fraud three times.Good luck!!!

have you thought some one else was trying to gain access to your accounts? id stealing is very high. they are looking out for you. change your account name and password.

Probably should just call the bank for the internet help desk number or if you can do it online try it that way. Most likely the bank itself won't be able to help you. Being that most banks have centers dedicated to the online banking.
