Would you hire me and what position do you think would be the best?


I am currently looking for a job and usually don't have any problem getting one, however for some reason I'm not getting much feedback from my resume. I need some feedback as to how to improve my resume so that I can get more interviews. Is there something lacking in my resume? What are you looking for as HR or hiring manager? Also, I am 19 weeks pregnant is that going to make the hiring process even more difficult for me? Thanks

Ah i see you are from Oregon. (Clackamas High School). It's the pregnancy that hinders you being hired. Sh1tty i know, but that's why. Hang in there. Hope you have a happy and healthy baby. good luck. And whatever you do....don't give up. Has your husband had any luck in his search? Word of Advice(Be yourself at the interviews. You're trying too hard.)

First thing I look at when hiring someone is how long they've been with their previous employers. I don't want to hire someone who doesn't plan on sticking with me for awhile. In your objective and in a cover letter, I would include a statements about your desire (if true) to stay with your next employer for longer than 1-2 years. I also like to see the month listed in your dates of employment. And, if you were hired on a short-term project, I would state that so the prospective employer doesn't think you're job hopping.

I would also expand on some of your qualifications. i.e. Entered orders into system. What system? How many orders?

Spelling out words such as rep sounds more professional.

Watching your capitalization also makes an impression. i.e. Strong interpersonal skills vs Strong Interpersonal Skills

As to the resume:
Be more specific--and more concise. That's a LONG list. High school isn't important if you've been to college. Make your object more specific, too.

Are you sending it to places that have a job open?

Is there anyway to demonstrate your skills? Saying "Strong Interpersonal Skills" doesn't mean anything to me.
