Please Help--Email Search Function Not Working!? |
I know this question has been asked but there were no answers, only others stating they have the same problem. About three months ago the search function on email simply stopped working. I went to the library and it didn't work there either. So I think it is about accounts, not settings. I have spoken to Level 2 tech phone support with absolutely no solutions, chat tech, and even emailed in a "help" ticket which came back with an answer to "call telephone support." This is a big problem for me. I don't have time to search manually through all my emails. Yahoo says this is a "new" problem to them but I know it has been repeatedly reported. Any ideas how to get search working again? So tired of getting the run-around on this.... I wish I had an answer to your question, but I don't; I am just having the same problem. The Yahoo email search used to work great, but for at least the last couple of weeks I have not been able to get it to work. No matter what I search for, it comes back saying that there are no emails that match, even when I search for something from an email that I have just read. I have tried the suggestion of rebooting the computer, and it did not help. I don't know what else to try, other than that I am sorting more of my mail into more folders so that I don't have to manually search through the whole In-Box. i ditto everything above re: my email search box. so frustrating not to have an answer re: this. i'm going to grad school & this is a complete waste of time for me. if yahoo doesn't have an answer, who does? should i dump yahoo? does anyone hear us out there? help!!!!!! Yahoo emails search was great and we got to use to it even as a routine tool. |
