I just need help finding family information....?

I searched everything i can think of, and even joined ancestry.com - which was absolutley no help at all. I made a family tree on there but in order for the site to find any relatives or info, i must have full - maiden names, birthdates, deathdates, marriage dates. in other words, alot more than i know.
Does anyone know of a site or anything where I can look up family/relatives without paying 50.00 for a membership to get addresses and telephone numbers??
If you think you might know of anything, or have any advice on how I mite be able to find what i'm looking for, thank you.
If you think my question is stupid or that I'm stupid or anything else, please just go find a question you would enjoy answering.
I've viewed alot of stuff on here and some of the "answers" given are just rude (and to whoever may be answering that way, as shocking as it is, it's not funny)

Go to Arts & Humanities -> Genealogy, look at the resolved questions for the first 5 of the 10 top answerers. You'll find a ton of links and tips. People ask questions much like yours every day in that category. We tend to paste our stock answer over and over, but all five of us have different favorites.

If you are looking for living relatives, zabasearch.com or any of the on-line phone books would be a better way than through Genealogy, assuming your last name isn't Smith, Jones or Miller.

You may be assuming too much. When I'm looking for people on Ancestry, Roots Web or the LDS site, I never fill in all the fields.

First name, given name and birth year, (+/-) 5 years is my first try.

Then I try just the first and last names and the spouse's name.

If it is someone famous, like the captain of the Titanic or Gen. Custer, last name and death date is enough.
