What should be the answer when one goes to the interview and the interviewer asks him why do u want with this?

what should be the answer of the person who attends the interview and he/she is asked by the interviewer why do you want to work with this company so what should be the answer by the interviewee. when even these days many want to work with MNC's so mostly they make telephone calls and asks us this isone of the interview rounds and we are asked this question. so even i faced this question for twice but i think i couldn't give a good answer.so i just want to know about this.

I would like to work here because I feel I have a contribution to make,because I understand the benefit package is attractive and I like the opportunity for advancement. I would like to work for a company that I can settle into for a long career.

Tell them that you think that this is a very good company to work for and you hope to grow as the company grows.

notyou has a great idea but you could also add that YOU have a lot to offer such a good company and wish to be a part of the growth and feel that you would be able to bring a lot to the table, if your job is in a certain type of area try and find out what the "buzz" words are for this area and try to use them, so they can see you are interested and able to stay abreast of changes/

"Why do I want to work with this company?" Well, I know that this is the fourth largest company in the world doing this type of business (do a background check on the internet about the company and get some other facts to throw in) and I feel that my knowledge, skills, and abilities (such as: tell them what you know that would fit) would fit right in with the company. I am highly motivated, and wish to expand my knowledge of this company/product. In addition, I see myself as a manager/supervisor/whatever with this organization in 5-10 years. I really feel that I am an excellent fit here, and I would like to have the chance to show you that I am. I really would like to have this job.

This shows the interviewer a couple of things: You did research on the company and have an idea of what they do.
You also know what KSA's (knowledge, skills, abilities) they are looking for and have tooted your own horn, letting them know you have just what they are looking for.
Also that you are eager to learn new things, and that you are looking long term, not short term.
Also, you are letting them know you WANT the job--you asked for it. Most interviewers don't know if an applicant wants the job or not. Most just go through the motions and never let them know they want the job.
Also, do the 4 C's: Calm, Cool, Collected, and CONFIDENT. You have to sell yourself, noone will be there behind you rooting for you. Toot your horn, brag, but don't boast! There is a difference.
