When you get a promotion, who do you call first?

here's a story:
a man was promoted to a managerial position. He felt very insecured when ushered into his new office. Nevertheless, he looked proudly at his new surrounding as he settled into his new chair. Suddenly, a knock at the door. The new manager, wanting to look busy, picked up the phone, then, asked the visitor in. When the young man entered, the new manager nodded him saying "Just a minute, I have to finish this call." Positioning the receiver, he continued into the phone, " Yes sir, I can handle that account. You can count on me. You're welcome, sir. Goodbye.".
The manager put the phone down and turned to his visitor. He smiled and asked. " Now, what can I do for you?" The young man smiled and answered, " Well, I just came in to connect your telephone.".

Wahaha! That's hilarious. And totally reminded me of this girl in school who was constantly talking to someone on her cellphone. Then one day, during one of her "conversations", her phone rang real loud! I guess she forgot to put her phone on silent. :D

On who I call first... Haven't been in the workforce long enough to get a promotion. But whenever something exciting happens to me, I usually call my mom first. Telling her is as fruitful as advertising on a newspaper, as she usually manages to tell half of all the people I know by the time I get home. :D

Nakasanayan lang na nandyan si nanay. Hehe.

i have a different version of this but this happened in real life.
when cellular phones were starting to be 'in' in the past years, one highschool student who wants to brag her new phone in front of her crush played a ringtone, then picked up the phone and pretended she was on a call. after a minute, she received a text message.haha! the phone beeped while she was on call!
